Hello all,

Currently we're having trouble with our domain name. Please use the following url until everything is alright again:

http://www.bs.ruilhandel.net

It's best to bookmark this url somewhere before your DNS server/cache gets updated and the domain booleansoup.com no longer works.

Additionally you can also put the following line in your "hosts" file (located in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc):

83.149.105.105 booleansoup.com

This allows you to access booleansoup through: http://booleansoup.com (without the www!). This also enables you to login on booleansoup.

Sorry for the trouble (it's hostonce's fault).

Yeah you suddenly remembered by reading the #bilge chatroom title I set.

Stop being a troll Dennis.

I agree with Dennis. The only use it has is for when the domain is back, so people will know the url for a next time this happens. So not much use. But posting about it is the proper thing to do, otherwise it looks as if nobody cares.

Actually posting here is useless too, but meh.

And Rince, I knew the ruilhandel url too, so why couldn't he? Calling him a troll won't do any good either.

I'm quite annoyed that when I try to inform people I get these kind of reactions. If both of you would have read the topic carefully you would've come across the following line:

Is this an ununderstandable line or what? I didn't think so. Also, I've been manually redirecting people here as well as setting the #bilge topic title to this place, when people who have arrived here and read this post they at least know what is going on with the domain and that they will have to use this url until the domain trouble is over. What's useless about that?

Yes, Rince, I understand that. Like I said I find it good you posted about it. Though I can ask you the same question: did you read my post carefully?

Carry on redirecting, you're doing fine.

We can easily renew your domain name only for you.

Please use the following link to submit updated credit card information so
that we can charge your US$16 renewal fee and unpark your domain name:

https://secure.hostonce.com/update_details.asp

This link will bring you directly to the updates page and this will allow
you to enter the relevant changes. (If the link does not work, please copy
and paste the URL directly into your browser.)

Debbie

I put in my debit card details and it told me it would be renewed. Who knows if it really will though.

I hope these gits aren't going to only renew only after the 30 days period. ¬_¬

Personally I'd send another e-mail.

lol at this topic, Rince

Yeah I agree with Peader. Wood if you can find out for us what the hell Hostonce want from us to get this domain transfered, I'll pay. (They, or the new registrar, will probably ask for another year's payment in advance or something)

I transfered from Hostonce to another provider for a small fee and kept the year's registration with another year from the new domain host. The small fee was nearly the cost of registering the domain but it was with 123reg.co.uk who aren't the cheapest place around.

Oh yeah, this debacle has highlighted the need to post without being logged in, or has it?
