Big problem here; I can't seem to make PHP work properly. what I did: 1. I installed Apache 2.2 from an MSI file. It ran fine and all. Then I downloaded the binary PHP and moved the php.ini to the system root. 2. I put all files in c:/php/ one of the files is php5apache2.dll 3. I added following lines to the httpd.conf LoadModule php5_module c:/php/php5apache2.dll AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .phtml AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps After adding the lines I cannot boot apache anymore. it keeps saying "cannot load C:/php/php5apache2.dll into server: The specified module could not be found." I tried everything. Moving the php files, I even copied the "C:/php/php5apache2.dll" in start>run and it found it!! No problems there. Still I can't run the http server. ____________ |

WAMP looks cool but I try it separate first. Yes I edited 2 things, the doc root and user or soemthing. system root is here: C:/windows on NT the system root is C:/windowsnt I think. btw could be a version problem (I checked the internet) php5 and APache 2.2. Edit: I'll try the WAMP thing now. Edit2: I love you woody! [Edited on June 28, 2006 by Rhovanion] ____________ |
