i saw National Treasure last night, well the last hour of it. what an atrocious display of Hollywoodesque tripe. the short sidekick was so so annoying i just wanted him to fall into a pit of spikes or worse. every other word was a terrible cliche. and i always thought Nicolas Cage was a pretty kosher actor up until seeing his performance in this film. please post your own experiences of Hollywood fake-morality propaganda. you know what i mean. Yes National Treasure is quite possibly the worst piece of tripe to come out of Hollywood.

any film with a cheesy americano sidekick is awful i thought the whole story about the Declaration Of Independence leading to piles of treasure was a particuarly interesting anecdote on the american dream. ____________ |

Man on Fire is a cliché ridden load of shite. The vast majority of the plot is stolen from Leon, and with wonderful lines such as: 'His art is death, and he's painting his masterpiece.' and 'Revenge is a dish best served cold.' ____________ This is my Blog. Isn't "Revenge is a dish best served cold" a common saying? Natioal Treasure was disappointing. The image was with the torch and the catacombs so I thought it would be an adventurous movie somewhere in the depths of a jungle... but NOO, it was in WASHINGTON... maybe a bit in a jungle then. A jungle of ties. Speaking of Nicolas Cage. He's a great actor. I recently saw "Lord of War" where he did some great acting. Won't get oscars probably because they made some assumtions of the States being corrupt in weapon dealing... otherwise... yay. ____________ |
