If you really loved DIV or making games, then please use Fenix. It's more than DIV ever was, and DIV was great. And Mike get your ass back here. The e-mail I got was from Jon Silvera. I mainly wanted DIV DX to compile the games I had made. Fenix seems unsuitable for that. I've tried a game once in Fenix though, but in the end I think it's better to learn proffesional languages now. With two (+ one who didn't really program with us) other students I've created a game in C++ for instance... ____________

Rhovanion Exterminated 666 posts	Deadmaster, if you start C++ be aware that it is not just another language. C++ is a whole new way of programming thinking. It uses Object Oriented concepts and in my experience I can tell you that your background on Fenix/DIV is not enough to understand all the basics of C++ programming, although you will understand faster with a background knowledge of Fenix/DIV instead of nothing. DTM Earthling! 821 posts	My first C++ code used a basic program to convert from div->c++ Simply adding {} instead of end and stuff. It sort of worked as it was a DLL not a stand alone program. The most difficult thing is finding out what the error messages mean. like, linker errors.
