Hey fellas (No I'm not Butters)

I am planning on making a new game.

But what is going to make it a bit special is that I am planning to translate it into Japanese also as a part of studying the language.

I'll make it in English and see where I get, then I'll translate it to Japanese, next I translate it to Spanish, French and German. I know, I'm nuts. :laughcry:

Anyway, the question IS

can bennu/fenix/gemix/whatever handle Japanese as output characters? Or do I have to include a special module?

Or can you just use it as a string?

string greet = 'おはようございます'; -- good morning
string kanji = '猫は可愛いですね'; -- That's a cute cat, isn't it?

It might compile, but does it also show the characters when you output them to the screen?

Thanks in advance! :)

Regards,
D.

Hi Dennis (No I'm not Dennis),

Good question. Unfortunately I do not know it by head. However, I do think it's quite easy to test this out yourself, isn't it? Have you tried to use Japanese characters yet? At least you probably know the difference better between japanese and mandarin...
