The game mods section. I know we're not going to get many when we first start anyway, but as Ferret rightly pointed out maybe we should only accept total conversions. In which case I'll rename that section when I come to do it.

If you only accept tc's you won't have a large section. What you could always do is have a total conversion section and another section for minor tweaks, whether they just be gui mods or something to do with ai or the odd level. Every one needs something small to flex their skills with.

Yeah but is minor modification game development? What about level editing? Where do you draw the line?

I was about to say not to draw a line, but that's not fair. There'll be a bunch of crosshair and crappy model mods maybe. We should say that if it has any form of actual impact on the experience of the game. For example, changing much of the weaponry that the bots use to create a different challenge would count as far as I'm concerned.

Play the mod, see if you notice any significant changes. If it's shit you reject it, if you notice something cool added then you accept it?

I think it'll be pretty clear. :)
