Design document nearly finished. Milestones!

Sunday seems to be my day to work on my project I guess. Today I almost finished the design document. I described almost every part of the game.

All power ups and enemies have been described. As well as all of the milestones. The project will consist of 10 milestones, where milestone 10 will be the release of the game to the public :-).

With milestone 4 the basic elements of the game will all be implemented (weapons, enemies, GUI, high scores etc. etc.). From milestone 5 and 6 the online leader board and account creation will be covered. Milestone 7 and 8 cover securing the online part to make it fraud free, although that will be hard I will undertake a few simple steps for it. Milestone 9 will be the actual level creation and optimizing graphics and sounds. And testing of course. And as said, milestone 10 will be its release.

Currently, milestone 1 has been covered. I can now start to work on milestone 2 which will give the game a boost at looking a whole lot completer.

I am not going into detail with the milestones but of course I will keep updating my worklog to let you guys know of my progress.

While working on my design document I have not done any coding really. Although a lot has changed since my last binary release. As said before the design document is not finished yet. I still need to think about the boss battle. But everything else is more or less sorted out.
