In related news Telltale Games have launched thier Sam and Max site with a tiny trailer that for some reason pimps GameTap to the max and doesn't say much about the game. Hm. I can't believe almost everyone except Ferret is so anti-nintendo around here in this topic. It doesn't have the "supre high quality graphics" like the XBOX360 or the PS3 (that fails to work at the moment). And it doesn't have a controller with five joysticks and 32 buttons either but a useful, fun, innovative gameplay style you never seen before. What are those great consoles like XBOX360 and PS3 gonna make? Yet another game that allready exists, only better graphics. Farcry 3? Call of Duty 3? BEEN THERE DONE THAT! Metroid Prime 3 will use the "wii stick" - as you call it - in a innovative way. You use it to pull things and to aim with your gun arm. Speaking of first person shooters, I prefer playing metroid prime hunters on the DS rather than an FPS on the PSP (=impossible). It goes almost as swift as on a PC with a mouse. By the way, the back buttons, thumb joysticks, D-Pad, ... were all invented by Nintendo and stolen by those "surrogates" (i.e. XBOX(360) and PS2;PS3). ____________ |

but to be perfectly honest, i really dont care who invented what. so i'll just stick to what (in my opinion) is best now. And btw, you do get Xbox/PS games that are fun and inovative, there are just a higher proportion of more "serious" (probably not the right word but you get what i mean) games. Don't say the FPS genre is exhausted, it's not. That was like the serailists saying we'd exhasted the reaches of the current tonal system... and look what that gave us :|

I just don't like playing a FPS with a gamepad. I prefer a mouse or something more agile than thumbstick.

already me and my friends have a slang term for the Wii Remotes THE WEMOTE!!!!! instead of wiimote! you get the diff? though we sound like Johnathon Woss when we say it. ____________ |

should we not start another fresh wii thread?? now it has actually been released it would be a great talking point. although Fiona is the only person who owns a Wii at the moment (and she hasnt even invited me round to play it) i have played it at a friend's house. plus mine is coming in a week or so. so Fiona your punishment for owning a nintendo wii is starting an interesting thread for us all. GOT ONE TOO! And I have to say I love it. I dont really get why you people say Nintendo is only for children, there are enough adult games (was like that on the Cube, will be like that on the Wii) I already played through Red Steel, besides a few let downs, its a real great game with cause its a complete new fps experience. I`m also playing Zelda, which is and will always be great
