if I jump here and another one jumps on hawai (other side of the globe) the earth will not move. It's like slapping a ball from 2 sides, it will NOT move.

Even if the two of you would stand next to each other it wouldn't work, as pointed out in my rather extensive physics post. :aharr:

If everyone would fart in the same direction (say west), maybe the earth will get a different rotational speed!

Not MOVE, but change its rotating speed. I mean the speed the earth spins around its own axis, not around the sun. ;)
