The pixel art in this game by Ariel is actually pretty good. It’s just a total shame that I had no idea what was going on the first time I actually played it. It could have benefited so much from a readme telling me that it was still brimming with bugs and short of features.

It’s a shame that the only (obvious) working gameplay mechanic is peasant happiness and health etc. I say it’s a shame because that is the one aspect of any strategy game that I always find sucks. It’s tedious, bogs you down, and bores the hell out of you.

I have a feeling this game is going to be very awesome once we start seeing more final versions, but for now, at least, it’s just really pretty.
