What do you all feel the best way to pimp something you have created is? I mean should you just spam the internet or let stuff speak for itself? Use common words to name and describe so it shows up in search engines?

Once I've redesigned my site a little (gonna make it more compact, new colour scheme and new banner), I'm gonna submit it to other shareware sites using sharewaretracker and promosoft. I really don't expect many sales, but hell, three or four would be enough.

I read "pornosoft" first I'm thinking of making a new site too, but I don't have the time. I am busy making sites for school and all. And they suk kok. I use this meta tags and google bots find it automatically I think... OR you choose a very popular webspace host. ____________ |

Making a video trailer of your game, showing quick cuts featuring all the best stuff in your game, works, but people get dissapointed...

Quoting Tovi: Making a video trailer of your game, showing quick cuts featuring all the best stuff in your game, works, but people get dissapointed... I certainly wouldn't show all the best things there are in your game... I'd show a few of them, but not the ABSOLUTE coolest. People should get curious too and not see the whole game. Hide some things, like as if some event is going to happen when you play but don't show it in your trailer. And unlike my older games, make them BIG enough. :p ____________ |
