Spazer (Dennis's Worklog)
Kickoff...
Dunno if I'm gonna keep this up. I have a busy agenda. But tonight I felt like making a SPRITE.
look well, and you'll see it is animated. I tried to learn from Ariels Yust's pixel art. I can't make large pics, so it will be a low-res game probably.
The first version is going to be very VERY simple.
1 level, some enemies, some music, some sound effects.
lol.
Gotta start from somewhere. :p
greetz. (I hope i finish this, I didn't make it myself too hard this time, so it's gotta work)

Good luck.
Nice sprite, what is it though? A spaceship? It looks like a batman sign with a spider on it!

it's a spaceship. Can someone tell me how I can make this thing larger? Whenever I try to make a larger sprite it looks complete shit...

That's because larger sprites have room for more detail. If you don't use it, then the ship looks very plain.
So try adding some details, lights, flaps (spaceship, ok..), more detailed engines, flag, reflections, shadows, wings, some more fancy equipment, etc.
In larger sprites like this, lighting is an important factor.
