It seems like a lightweight version of Unity. And completely free/open source.

Seriously though I've never heard of it before and it's editor having a linux version means I probably will look at it~

Yeaahh. It's rare to have a decent Linux game engine. I've been using Panda3d occasionally, which is pretty nice, but not GUI/editor based.

Our world is made of tangible matter. In our world, a piano can't go through a wall when going into a house. It needs to use the door. Video games are often like the the real world and Pac-Man can't go through the walls of his maze (although he can teleport from the left to the right side of the screen and back).

I laughed my ass off. So funny. I want to give it a try. Any reviews anyone?

it's worth playing with. But I seem to have got to the point where I find GUIs more confusing than simple code. O_O

Godot seems to have improved greatly in 6 (!!!) years. It's really nice and polished. Like DIV for the modern age with a lot of things integrated
