Java really is misunderstood
Completely unoptimised tile rendering with animated tiles and sprites at 30 fps? Hell yeah...
(the number goes like that only as i hit print screen fyi)
Not to mention GUI stuff is not hair-rippingly frustrating like oh, I dunno, pretty much every C++ API there is for doing it.
Never say anything bad about Java ever again...
