First Impressions

Hallo there,
This is my first Fenix/DIV style coding project in a while so i expect many problems etc etc. I recently saw a lot of screenshots of a most delicious looking game called "Supreme Commander" being made by Chris Taylor of Total Annihilation fame, and thus i was inspired.

The idea is to make an rts about big robot tanks which shoot big robot guns at other big robots and exploderise nicely too. Unforunately it wont be on a scale as absurdly (and awesomely) big scale as SupCom, but i intend there to be quite a few units in play. (100-150)

Some early screenshots:
Screen 01
Screen 02

So far:
+Selection/Deselection with multiple units
+Unit Stats including Turn Speed, Acceleration, Max Speed, Height
+Smooth Movement (dictated by unit stats)
+Neat little trick i came up with to make tanks look isometric
+Trees

To do:
-Basic Enemy unit AI (i want to get this out of the way so i dont get bogged down later)
-Map Editor (atm it simply tiles a grass tile over a scroll)
-GUI (radar, unit info, menu bar)
-Buildings
-Shitloads more

Thanks for your interest ladies and gents
-Casper
