Hi there, Discover ShiVa, a software dedicated to speedup the development process. I think this tool may be useful for indie game developer...there is an option for 270$. You can produce your game on pc, mac, mobile and soon video game console ... Also, you can import models created with max, maya, xsi ... using the collada exchange format. there is a material editor, a terrain editor, an animation editor,... Scripting is in lua...
