i'm working on a top down shoot-em-up, kind of like a "1942" but in the future. quite like a space shoot-em-up, think of Woody's "Turbulence". i think for any successful indie game 3d is a must, plus i've always wanted to make a really good quality shoot-em-up. it shall be written in DarkBasic. so, if anyone can do simple models (not really intricate or anything), but precise ones not crappy ones, and in a good style then post me on this thread. thanks ____________ |

So you want precise not crappy spaceships? Check out things modelling program called Wings3D(freeware), the models also need to be cleaned up and textured in another program such as MilkShape3D(close to freeware). I could model you a ship or two if you'll take them, but not a lot of ships. ____________ gay |

sounds good. it would be nice to collaborate. when i get the hang of 3d modelling/i have started getting into the code i'll take it into my own hands. have you designed anything already. it would be very cool to see. ____________ |

I doubt I have any around anymore but I thought you were really desperate ie demonstrations weren't imperative. edit: check out that wings3d program, you don't really need to know how to model to make spaceships with it. you don't have to demonstrate - i.e. i can't really model anything i only just began yesterday and it's annoying me that i haven't got the hang of vertices. never mind getting asymmetric type starships on the go. i trust your efforts are good enough for me to start coding with. that's if you aren't too lazy to knock up a few ships for me. ____________ |
