So you are reading this and have not run for the hills screaming. Well done :-) Edit: Screenshots... http://xzist.org/SECRET/runrabbit.jad or http://xzist.org/SECRET/runrabbit.jar Where "SECRET" needs to be replaced with the word that goes between "DIV" and "Studio". In lower case. (the final version will have ADVERTS! how nice). It needs a relatively new phone I think. That is, one that supports MIDP 2.0. If anyone can find time/has a decent enough phone to test it I would be eternally grateful [Edited on May 5, 2008 by DTM] ____________ :o |

I'm impressed, it's the only game that I've ever got to install on my Samsung U600. It works pretty well, rest assured this is the only game I will ever play on my phone, It's perfect for phones, you don't need to think, its responsive and is good fun to play. It did, however, crash when I hit a little critter who was standing on one of the platforms, haven't been able to reproduce it yet though Edit: There's no sound, just so you know [Edited on May 5, 2008 by yonni] ____________ |

That's great, thanks yonni! I think I've found the cause of the crash (an array out of bounds), I've updated it. It seems the Samsung U600 doesn't support .wav sounds. yet it does support mp3! Wav's probably the most common format though so I'll probably stay with that. ____________ :o |

it's meant for any phones that support java and MIDP 2.0. Which should be most phones. there's screenshots here I just used this forum as there isn't a better one... we need a WIP forum. ____________ :o |

Well my U600 got lost, so I've now installed in on my new Nokia E51 handset which runs Symbian S60, which does support wave sounds The sounds are horrible! It sounds like a small furry animal is dying in my phone. PLEASE put in an option to turn off sounds. Also, music would be much better than sound effects IMO ____________ |

the MIDP 1.0 version uses some slower code for resizing the menu screen graphic, but other than that it's the same... [Edited on June 14, 2008 by DTM] ____________ :o |
