Work in Progress Games
Trigger Happy II
My ludicrously ambitious last gasp at game programming isn't doing any good sucking up hard drive space on my computer, so I'd might as well release the most recent version of my ultraviolent top-down deathmatch game, given to beta testers just about a year ago today. Here it is: Trigger Happy II, version 0.6. There won't be a 0.7.
This demo isn't much more than an engine test, but it's got seven months worth of programming in it, so you'd better love it with every part of your body. I had some kickass stuff in store for the final game, some of which you can see in this demo (ragdoll physics, pixel-perfect destructible walls, fast permanent sprite painting on the floor leading to veritable oceans of blood and corpses) and some that never made it outside my head (labyrinthine levels with many moving parts, numerous deathtraps like spinning fans and pits and pits with spinning fans in them, game modes up the wazoo), but alas, the project collapsed under its own weight and Fenix's incompentence. Brings a tear to my eye it does. :'(

Any cool-looking graphics were probably drawn by the unimitable Ariel Yust, the stupid stuff is mine.

Very very nice. I love your special effects and explosions, and that's nice skull flying up. Not to forget my bowels hanging out. Any incompetence from Fenix' side should be compensated by your own competence, so uh, finish it? A good way to go about it is just to recode it all from the ground up, you have the graphics now and know how to code certain espects so it'll go a lot faster.

Recode from the ground up D:? I think I've pretty much forgotten most of Fenix by now. No great loss.

Ofcourse you're free to do it in another language if that's easier for you! =P

Yeah so anyway I've never had so much fun destroying the first letter 'p' in "happy".
I am very impressed by the details, the explosions, the bloods, the destructions, and the subconcious penis motifs.
People alwasy say finish shit i say fuck it you've done a cool job and you are know whack and maybe wicked in my eyes. Which is really deadly.
This demo is a real achievment. Your my IDOLSA! LOL.
