hey,i remembered you are using the sdl lib so i am hoping you know this: I have been following the tutorials on this http://lazyfoo.net/SDL_tutorials/index.php Basically i hopped about as usual,but followed lesson 2..found it boring but got it working..went on to lesson 22 and got interested again...then i jumped to lesson 29,this is where the fun stopped!the damn thing doesnt compile despite even using the original files that are linked! So do they work for you? i get some gay ass error but cant recall what...didnt make sense anyhow... I recommend following the tutorial on how to set SDL up for your IDE, whichever you're using. Some settings seem to be needed in order to make it work. God i feel wasted..i drank like a whole box of bud ice thursday night,totally fucked,then went out friday night(lastnight) and hit several pubs with the bitch, i mean i was fucking drinking pint after pint and double whatevas inbetween..malibu and brandy and whisky,whatever i thought might fuck me up..god damn it did fuck me up..i think i am on a self destruct path... We had won 200 squid on friday though so it was all free! Anyhow..... I did follow the setting up of sdl sandman...Its the 1st one i followed...if i hadnt then not even the scrolling tutorial i mentioned woulve worked..ok?? this is why its odd... Now..i need to drag my wasted fucking body to the beach again as we promised the kids ____________ Gimme my toetag already... |

Compiles fine for me as well o.O My linked libs are: mingw32 SDLmain SDL SDL_image SDL_mixer SDL_ttf My set directories are: Compiler: C:\MinGW\include, C:\MinGW\include\SDL Linker: C:\MinGW\lib, C:\MinGW\include, C:\MinGW\include\SDL Thats about it... if you still want serious help, post the error messages. ... and please spell my name right, next time XD ____________ Roundhousekick to the face, baby! |
