From what I've heard the ads are not bringing in any money for some reason (not properly linked to an account/something else, can't remember). You can switch ads off for your account in the profile section. If it only brought in monies

You can sign up to google adsense to make money on any site. I thought that was what those were.

I wondered, if everyone clicked on an ad when they came into BS, would someone get a nice packet? Obviously not then, but would be cool.

We never got around to applying to the program so they're not paying anyone at the moment. I know this topic is old but I was really wishing to ask this question. I was hoping to set up a forum with vbulletin so I did want to know, how so the google ads work on your page to bring in money?

You get a few $cents every time someone clicks on one. They pay you when it exceeds $100. Does that answer your question? To get any significant amount of money you will need a very popular website though. Like, 1000s of impressions every day. ____________ :o |

Go to the Google Adsense help page and click on the 'getting paid' section also read the Wikipedia article on it. Then if you still don't understand it ask a more specific question like "what are click throughs?' or "what is an impression?". Ok?

I closed my AdSense account way back when the Fishstick died. When I was making the BS layout I just put the obsolete ad code in to see how it looked.
