It would be nice to have linked postnumbers(you know, #1 #2) so you can easily link to a specific post. Maybe this should point to an URL with 'post=x' instead of the usual 'page=x', so it would be work between people who display a different number of posts per page.

"Hi! Im Momia que fuma, the new spanish guy in booleansoup (About the game i submitted today, Masters of Invento-Fighting)"

Hi!

Im spanish, so sorry in advance for my crappy English XD

Thanks for approving and uploading my game! but....there are two things, the game is in full games section instead of Wip´s and the game is only a beta (maybe i selected that section by error....I dont know :P)

Also i submitted the game whit debug mode enabled whitout noticing it, you can press alt+c and mess up whit the variables in the Fenix console and cheat all you want, but since the game its a beta its not so much trouble...if i send you the no-debug .dcb (a few Kbs you know) could you replace it? (like i just said, its not important anyways :P)

Anyways, i dont have the no-debug dcb right now (its in my workplace), i cant send you it until monday...

Thanks again for uploading the game guys, i thought maybe could be troublesome because of the ripped musics and that stuff ;)

Im happy that the english comunity its still in there despite the sad death of Div :_(

I moved it to WIP games and said I'd replace the DCB. It might be cool to have an option to change the game type without sending it back to the admin area for reapproval, but that's not a big deal. We may want to keep an eye out for more games that end up in the wrong category in case it wasn't his mistake.

Actually I put in in full games because it seemed like a nicely rounded off game. It didn't seem unfinished even though there are features missing, if you see what I mean.

But it can go in wips if the guy wants.

I noticed there is no Sent Items list in the PM system. That would be nice.

shouldn't there be a way to delete your own games? From the WIP/game over/shareware sections?

Interesting idea...

As for the answer, I'm about to start a bug reporting module which will also cover suggestions, behaviour reports, edit requests and any other junk you want to send to us.

And Ferreh if you are going to re-do the PMs, can you make it more of a site-wide module? I mean, it would be cool to have automated PMs for when your stuff is approved and so on - as well as the email alerts

So it wasnt a bug or i messing it up! :P

Thanks for considering it a full game but....it only has 1 character!! You play a few times and it gets boring...1 character is nothing for a fighting game!

For the final version i want to put in about 10 characters, arcade and history mode (<--with cutscenes, alternative paths and endings, mini games to earn new moves...), a animated intro, a improved menu, language options, super combos (you know, whit an extra power bar), taunts, throws, and a lot of stuff...

But like i said in the game comments i have to rewrite aaaaall the code, and i dont have much free time, so the full version could take ages...

In the rules it doesn't state explicitely not to link to illegal content. That might be good to have.

And another thing. When you search the games it gives back the results with 5 games per page. When you browse the games normally you get 10 per page. It might be more consequent if they showed the same amount, especially when there are a lot of results. Not that I searched for boobs.

Another edit, something that annoys me on quite a few sites. When you look up a profile in the GET it puts the member id, and not the actual name. Now usually when I want to go to a specific profile of someone I go to the first profile link I see, and then edit the url to go to the one I really want to go to. This is often faster than going through the memberlist or searching the forums for a post of the specific member. On the profile topic, if you can fix it, I find the average posts per day often enlighting about the general activity of the user.

And what are your views on highlighting code in the code tags like the folks at php.net do for example?

A bug which I will fix. In the mean time you can select whatever items per page you want from the search form, you know.

I'll sneak it onto Ferret's to-do list.

Just so it is reported, it seems nothing big to me, but who knows what's behind it:

I think it has to do with a 4 line signature and a 1 line post or something...

EDIT:
The above occurd after I posted. Now comes the scary part (look away if you don't have a strong hearth):

When I refreshed the page, it was displayed correctly...

That's actually a thing I've had too, sometimes the posts do not align as they should(like on pictures posted earlier in this topic), but a refresh sometimes does miracles ,i.e., fixes it. So, either Firefox messes it up or BS does. I guess when I have it again I'll save the source and do a diff to make sure.

Oh, and thanks for the reply Frimkron.

I just had the same with Last.fm stretching elements too far. I suppose it has to do with how the page is rendered,i.e, it assumes some values to do some pre-emptive rendering which appear to be different when they are actually loaded. Later, when gotten from cache, the page is rendered as it should have been in the first place. Would seem logical. Should be easily recreated with a no-cache header. Maybe transferring some sizes from the separate CSS file to <script> tags would fix it?

I'll let the maestro's handle it now. *shuts it*

EDIT: Of course the tag is the <script> tag, not some fictive <style> tag.

When I attempt to upgrade firefox, it gives me a list of extentions that won't work with the newest version. The two that it claims won't work are "HTML validater" and "Fasterfox". I'll wait til I can get a screenshot.
