Here's a a WIP screenie of a platform based Tower Defense game I'm working on for the Pandora and pc - I've got 10 cavemen "towers" done, with others in various states of completion and 7 (very early) dinos done so far. The game is semi-playable (you can build and place towers and attack dinos, collect items etc. but you can't be killed or lose yet). I've got a long way to go and a short time to get there - needs to be complete by the end of March! ____________ I came, I saw, I played some Nintendo. |

That is a creepy deadline... Can't see the screenshot, unless I copy its URL. The background reminds me of Zelda, for some strange reason. The red dino is just a prototype I presume? Simple, but nice.

I've asked around, it's actually a 403 - forbidden error in some cases. It is your host's default. Try to enable that folder access? If you can't, it's that your host is no good for what you want it for. [Edited on March 13, 2012 by Mezzmer] ____________ |

How odd. I've never had a problem with other sites and I can see it from here (even after emptying my cache). You can try downloading it from HERE Dunno

Is there a way to see how far the level has progressed, so you can become really frustrated and pull out all of your hair when you die right before the end of a level is reached? Not that it is fun for a player, but it is fun to know your game does that to people.  Looks nice compact. ____________ Kwakkel |

There's a level progression bar at the top left of the screen. It's still WIP but it does work.

Looks like fun, Rockford. I like dinosaurs and like dino-games. The dinosaurs look great. I don't know about whether collecting the green circles and bones is so much fun though, judging from the youtube video, it seems a bit out of place in a tower defense game.

Cheers. The collecting doesn't ruin the game in Plants Vs Zombies and this (Dino Defense) isn't just a run of the mill TD game. Hopefully others won't feel that it reduces the fun-factor, as the collection aspect is a major part of the game. Don't collect, can't build or improve your units/defences. Honestly (and hopefully) it adds a lot of strategy to the game and atmosphere too, as the player panics waiting for a soul sphere to appear so that you can buy an archer (or whatever) to shoot down a pterasaur etc. etc. Well, that's the plan anyway...
