I've just submitted a new full game to the archive. The game is for PC and both versions of the GP2X (F100 and F200).

The game is called B'lox! and it's a puzzle game, where you need to move Sliders onto pads of the same colour (sounds exciting, doesn't it?) With 100 puzzles, it should keep you busy for a while (there's a puzzle editor too, for the creative types out there).

Nice game name. A couple of days ago I came across a store named "Dogs Bollocks", and it had me fascinated for a moment as well. The game can be found here: http://www.booleansoup.com/ind … full&id=127

Also for those interested in uploading their GP2X games, I added a GP2X category for games, and added some more languages to the language list (like GLBasic, Bennu, BlitzMax).

That's what I was thinking, this is the sort of thing I used to stick on the front page in the week or so of frenzied activity I spent actually moderating this.

When I'll get on Windows I'll try them. If you want I can compile Off The Mortal Coil for Linux. But only if you have a legal license of BlitzMax yourself :-).

I own legal copies of every piece of software I use regularly - if something is worth using, it's worth paying for. I don't have any illegal pc or console software. As for handheld...

GLBasic supports Linux, OSX and Pocket PC too.

Wasn't The Mortal Coil programmed in BlitzMax? I'm offering to compile it for Linux if you can't.

What I was trying to say was that while I can compile for Linux and other platforms (with Max and GLBasic), I deliberately don't. I can't offer support for platforms I don't use (but have access to), hence why I haven't compiled them for those.

The lack of feedback with the versions I have done (not just here) doesn't offer enough incentive to bother with other versions. Sorry.

Oh well. It's your call.

But I think you should consider doing a Mac release. Mac doesn't have an awful lot of games so I think your B'lox game could be quite the hit.

Lol I allready found 2 bugs in your Grim Reaper game...

1.after the little angry man die you can still read his text
that was mentioned in the game's comments

2.the game crash when you click "use" on the "bell" that fell on the bellringer :S

the game is good I enjoyed it, but it starts to be realy simple just killing everyone one after the other by picking items and going to the next victim :P

anyway I think you done a good job realy! :D

The game was supposed to be simple as it was coded for a month-long mini-comp (which it won), and I get very little time nowadays. This was also my first ever BlitzMax game, so I was learning as I was going.

Sorry about the bugs, I'd not noticed either - I'll fix them later. Thanks for the feedback.

BTW B'lox! won the GP2X comp too. :)

I agree. I was just going to come on and say that your game won't run on my machine, so I can't try it out :P

Hope you change your mind someday :)

I'm trying to get my own Fenix 0.84a game to work on Windows Vista, and Bomberlink from the Spanish community helpfully sent me a link to his recompiled FXI. While this basically works the loading of custom DLLs sadly doesn't. This probably isn't the thread for it but in case anyone knows why, I'm all ears. I was thinking perhaps custom DLLs also need to be recompiled in a newer Visual Studio version like FXI had to be, but it could be something else.

I think they need to be recompiled as well. Are the sources available for those DLL's? (you probably want to open another topic about this subject)

Most are my own DLLs except for TTF.dll of which the source is available. I'll give recompiling a try and open a new topic if I can't get it to work. :)
