Hi,
Do anyone has the CD (ISO File) of DIV Games Studio 1 + 2 (There are only two versions for DIV, right?)?
I had the first one, but the CD doesn't work well.
Also, you can't get it anywhere on the Internet, even not to buy it.

Thanks...

No. I don't have any ISO's for you. I have them both, original, but am not going to put an ISO online.

Why would you want them anyway?

Instead of DIV Games Studio you could use Gemix Studio, it compiles DIV Games and there are free betas available of it.

If you're looking for something to program new games in then Bennu, originally based on DIV, can be recommended!

You can make new games with Gemix Studio also... That DIV thing... well, Gemix is compatible with it but is a lot more powerful than it.

You refer to DIV Games Studio, the father of Fenix, Bennu and Gemix as "That DIV thing..." which is very unfair.

I mean, good luck with your project, from what I see it's a good games-making tool and faster/more powerful than DIV, but why every one of your posts sounds like aggressive marketing I have no idea LOL

This does not clarify anything, you explain why you think Gino has been aggressive (saw your earlier it is a little ironic).

Well, when i said 'that div thing' i was trying to emphasize the fact that for some reason people tend to think that Gemix is just a "run-div-games" program. I wasn't reffering to the Divlikes with that expresion but to this fact.
By the way i know that it is impossible for me to say anything that don't sound to you like 'aggressive marketing'. I am developing Gemix (with other people), so i'm going to defend it, and the fact is that anything that i say about Gemix can sound that way depending on the ears that heard it.

Htbaa, why not? It's a dead software (reached to End-Of-Life), and the creator of DIV, the "Hammer Tecnologies" company no longer exists. There is no longer copyrights on "DIV".

Well, what are those softwares, "Gemix Studio"? Where is the download on "Gemix Studio"'s website? There is only a forum there? And, what's the difference between it to DIV?

Hi galz,

Gemix Studio claims to be the third version of DIV (DIV3), the current state is a beta, but already 100% compatible with original DIV2.

Runs natively on Windows (and soon for other platforms) and contains many more features.

If you are interested in trying or use it, you can register in this forum:
http://www.gemixstudio.com/forums/index.php

In the News section you will find the latest beta available for download

Regards

Well since Scribbly, Navarro and BenKo are joining that new div thing, it might be fun to check it out? Not for me though, I don't have the time anymore.

I can't argue against CicTec and GINO because after all DIV 1 and 2 wasn't free either and was full of marketing too.

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for the comment ...
We say that this is not marketing, but simply that it had found that many people really believe that Gemix is simply a DIV-like to run DIV2 games, (not having tried the latest versions), while those who have actually tried it said they found many features superior to other DIV-Likes as Fenix or Bennu.

On Benko and Navarro, I did not understand very well what you mean, perhaps creating a new DIV? Would be interesting also would like to know that Navarro has decided to continue his work.

Hi Ariel,

The forum is divided into three sections, the first is entirely in English:

the Spanish is currently the most active.

Hey, well, yeah, after 5 years, is anybody alive here? I'd like to get a hold of the DIV 2 English version ISO (even if it's a demo), mainly because I need the DIV.HLP file (the help file) to use it as base for the documentation of my game engine, GamePower, which aims to be compatible with DIV, and I'd rather include the file (formatted and parsed and such) instead of doing the tremendous work of translating it when I'm sure it's out there and someone who has it can be kind enough to at least share the file :)

I know I've saved DIV/DIV2 CD but not sure where they're stashed these days. I shall have a look and report back in due time (2 weeks).

Actually I'm pretty sure I've made backups of them as well but those would probably be even harder to find. Oh well.

Unfortunately most of us here have died, may their souls rest in peace, but some of them have become UNDEAD instead and linger in a place called "the bilge".. Only the name itself makes you SHIVER WITH FEAR!

You could connect to the bilge (at your own risk).

But most of the people moved to Unity or stopped completely due to a time continuum problem caused by a black hole that appeared after trying to compile something in DIV on Windows 10.

Since Facebook has teached me that most have gotten a woman, I'm just going to have to assume this is what women are.
