I have been trying out different things and getting used to SDLbasic. The docs are not terribly good as is the norm with most modern compilers.

Next I'll see how I can adapt my "perfect pixel collision" to SDLbasic; this was based on Hardness_Maps, not too sure how to go about this. If it doesn't work I guess I can always use the old careful grid positioning.

Another thing that needs sorting is the different FPS I get on different PC/OS

Thanks to RaverDave for testing the winXP version.

I hope my work doesn't intefere too much. I think I'll make a platform game. I never have before, so it will be interesting. The game will be made for linux, although there will be a windows version. I would like it to be GPL so SDLbasic or Freebasic will probably be the compilers, if they aren't up for the job, then I will probably use Bmax.

Great Idea, this competition.
